Born and brought up at Aligarh and Agra. He obtained his masters degree from St. John's College Agra affiliated to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Agra in 2001. Worked at IIT Kanpur (2004-2010), and obtained his Ph.D. (2010) in Chemistry from G.B.T. University Lucknow. He moved to Jubilant organosys Noida, and worked as research scientist from Aug 2010 to Feb 2011. He joined the GLA University Mathura UP as Assistant Professor in Feb 2011. In June 2019 he got promoted to Associate  Professor in GLAU. His research interest lies in the area of organic synthesis, heterogeneous catalysis and nano-science.
